It's hard to believe that thie rain garden we installed during the workshop is already more than a year old. Enjoy these photos, taken in August 2009. Though this is a pretty large rain garden, it has required very little maintenance. During the first season, we made sure that it got 1" of water each week, which meant occassional watering. A little bit of weeding each week and it pretty much takes care of itself now.

Thanks to the Forest Lake Community Association for maintaining the rain garden and helping to spread the word about these beautiful and functional gardens.
